The AKS Hotels vision is to offer exceptional facilities and services in hotels/resorts that complement the Aegean Sea, the landscape and local culture. The company’s dynamic presence in Greek Hospitality began in 1998 with the purchase of the Porto Heli Hotel, Class A, with 214 rooms, at Porto Heli, Eastern Peloponnese. The area is steeped in history and noted for its magnificent natural beauty.
In 1999, AKS Hotels acquired the distinguished Minoa Palace Hotel, Class A, with 129 rooms, in Amnissos, near Heraklion, Crete.
Recognising the spiralling growth of upmarket tourism along the Porto Heli coast, AKS Hotels, in 2000, bought the Hinitsa Bay Hotel, Class A, with 216 rooms.
In early 2001, the company purchased the AKS Annabelle Beach Resort, a Luxury Class resort with 262 rooms, located at Hersonissos, one of the main tourist destinations of Crete. With this acquisition, the company lends its name to a prestigious resort representing the new generation of “Holiday Resort Hotels” on Crete.
The success of the company’s four hotels is the result of in depth knowledge of the Greek tourism sector, as well as its commitment to a set of corporate values, which, for years, has shaped the distinct character of AKS Hotels.
In 2005, AKS Hotels also completed its new Conference Centre in Porto Heli. The ultra modern Porto Heli Conference Centre is especially designed to meet the organiser’s needs, with two conference halls, exhibition space and cutting edge technologies and equipment to accommodate any event. The Conference Centre is supported by the AKS Porto Heli and AKS Hinitsa Bay hotels. Follow the link at the home page for more information.
